HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL

We are an International Taekwon-Do Federation I.T.F. Style school affiliated to the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Association U.K.T.A..
The UKTA was founded by Pioneer Master and the Father of Tae Kwon-Do in the UK and Europe....

  • First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha IXth Dan OCM in 1967.
Our school was founded in 1989 by Mr Kris Ram, then a First Degree Black Black Belt. Mr Ram's first classes were held in Hillpark Secondary School, in the south side of Glasgow. Although the school is no longer situated at the original location the name has been retained due to the reputation built around it.
Over the years that the school has been running, Mr Ram has produced many high quality students, including 20 plus Black Belts of his own, several of whom have went on to excel in Taekwon-Do, both in Grading exams and in National Championships. Over the years our school has been extremely successful at National Competitions having won many medals against formidable opposition.
